Conventional wisdom states that mergers fail, because deals get done for the wrong reasons. So what can we do to avoid becoming just another statistic? How can we beat the odds and stop getting it wrong? By using business intelligence. Think of a merger or acquisition as a minefield. To implement it successfully you must reach the other side, and avoiding it altogether is costly in terms of both time and money. What you need is a guide to show you where the mines are. Business intelligence is that guide, it can increase your chances of success at every stage of a given deal. Research has shown a demand for material on this subject for thinking practitioners, to fill a current gap in the market.
