Managing Yourself focuses on what is one of the key areas for supervisors and managers to master; personal competence and personal effectiveness in the workplace. There is no magic formula for personal success but there are techniques which can help in the achievement of personal goals and this text is designed specifically to impart these techniques. Unlike other books in this series Managing Yourself does not cover a specific functional area but details the ways in which a supervisor or manager is able to support his or her “functional” role through their personal competence.
