While approximately 50% of American families own stocks, very few of these stock-owners are able to critically judge the quality of data or examine the success of results related to their investments. Investment managers often supply misleading information related to their investment portfolios, striving to put their performance in the best possible light. Government data related to the economy is slanted to make the economy look better than it really is. As a result, investors often have a difficult time determining whether or not their investments are beating the market (or even beating inflation). Getting Started in Investment Analysis will provide investors with the necessary tools to personally analyze their investment data and track their investment results.
IMPORTANT TOPIC: The ability to quickly and easily analyze investment data can make or break an investor’s portfolio. Getting Started in Investment Analysis will help readers sift through the biases of money managers and government publications to uncover the true value of their investments. AUTHOR’S PREVIOUS BOOK SALES: The author’s two previous books, All About Six Sigma and Statistics for Six Sigma Made Easy, sold over 30,000 copies total worldwide. POPULAR SERIES: The “Getting Started In” series is targeted at readers who are looking for a basic overview of specific investment principles and vehicles.
