At a time when real heroes are hard to find, it is the entrepreneur, the dynamic go-getting risk taker, who has become the hero of free enterprise. At the cutting edge of the British entrepreneurial community are Asian businesses. Asian wealth now creates and sustains more jobs than it has ever done. Asian wealth stimulates growth in industries and places that would struggle without the engine of Asian entrepreneurship. Asian wealth is diversifying and modernising. Asian wealth crosses the generational divide. The book is timely – there is much noise made by the government and policy makers to encourage entrepreneurship. In addition, TV shows like The Apprentice and Dragons Den have aided this popularity.
