About the Book and Topic:
This is a part of a cluster of books examining the most important issues affecting the modern worker. It will kick off with three books on job hunting, motivation and money. This book will allow individuals to take charge of their own lives, and not let their lives control them. It contains inside secrets on how to challenge yourself and discover what you are truly capable of.
The aim in bringing this cluster together is to produce a set of books all of which will be relevant to workers in most ordinary careers. This differs from other practical skills/topic based series where only some of the subjects covered will be relevant. In the case of this title there is excellent direct sales potential as the author is a regular on the national and international speaking circuit. As conference organisers often can’t afford her full fee, we can get them to include book as part of delegate’s fee and have it given away free. Customised versions may also be a possibility.
· Second title in a new series of practical, helpful career books. Sue Stockdale combines her knowledge of business and adventure experience to help individuals reach peak performance. · Draws lessons from the author’s triumphant march to the North Pole, as well as a 3 month expedition in Africa, working in war-torn Yugoslavia and major expeditions to Chile and Argentina. · Author has a high profile on the UK and international conference speaking circuit, and there will be plenty of opportunities to tie-in to her various motivational speaking activities.
