About the Author
Michelle Clayman is the founder, managing partner, and CIO of New Amsterdam Partners, LLC, an institutional money management firm in New York. Ms. Clayman has been published in the Financial Analysts Journal and the Journal of Investing. She is a frequent commentator on CNBC, Bloomberg, and other financial media. Ms. Clayman is a past president of the board of directors of the Society of Quantitative Analysts. Ms. Clayman has acted as a course director in finance and entrepreneurship for the East Harlem Tutorial program. She is a member of the leadership council at the Harvard Divinity School. Ms. Clayman is chair of the national advisory panel of Michelle R. Clayman Institute for Gender Research at Stanford University. Ms. Clayman received a degree in philosophy, politics, and economics from Oxford University, and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Ms. Clayman is a CFA charterholder.
