Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERPs) continue to play a pivotal role in aligning business strategy to technology. By creating, transforming, or re-engineering business processes, systems, and organizations, companies and governments can create new sources of revenue, operate more efficiently, lower costs, improve products and services, and surpass their competition. Many organizations, however, have already made an investment in ERP. The majority of these organizations find they are now faced with the challenge of realizing the value of their ERP investment.
Each chapter includes real world case studies to supplement best practice methodologies. Provides strategic guidance on how to best set up core financial modules for ERP systems, including SAP and Oracle.
