About the Author
Cherie Brown is the founder and executive director of the National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI). She has led hundreds of leadership training programs for organizations around the world including the US Congress, PBS, National League of Cities, NAACP, and many others. She has published numerous articles on diversity and group interaction. She is a frequent contributor to Tikkun and has written articles for Fortune and the Christian Science Monitor. She lives in Washington, DC George Mazza is a federal civil rights attorney in Washington DC. He developed with NCBI Diversity and the Law, a program that links legal training with diversity issues. Mazza has worked with organizations including the American Association of University Women, Flagstar Corporation and the Internation Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers. He lives in Washington, DC The National Coalition Building Institute (NCBI) is a nonprofit lead e rship training organization that works to eliminate prejudice in communities throughout the world.
