This book was written for the home-based or small business owner in a small town or small market, sitting in his back room with $125.00 to spend on the right marketing for the maker of a particular widget who has no idea how to let people know what his product is and why they need it. There are tons of books on marketing and advertising, but most are authored by Madison Avenue gurus using methods that worked for Coke or Exxon but which the average business owner can’t possibly afford. How to Market, Advertise & Promote Your Business or Service in Your Own Backyard benefits the reader by detailing a 10-point, step-by-step method to create a successful marking plan. The ten-step process forces readers to confront – and find solutions for — the challenges that arise in the day-to-day operations of their business. A small town business owner, who talks the small town talk and walks the small town walk, wrote this book.
