This collection of Frances Hesselbein’s most incisive and stirring writings on leadership, which she affirms is based on a handful of specific principles, will give readers both the inspiration to go forth and the practical knowledge to make a difference each and every day. These gems of leadership wisdom include Hesselbeins thoughts on innovation, change, diversity and what it means to be a woman who is a leader. At the center is Hesselbein’s belief that leadership is about character–a question of how to be, not how to do it. Hailed by such thought leaders as Peter F. Drucker, Warren Bennis, and Sally Helgesen as one of the most innovative and inspired leaders today, Hesselbein gives readers a star to steer by and in this book will engage, energize and motivate readers to do their best and be their best.
