James R. Hitchner, CPA/ABV, ASA (Atlanta, GA), a leading figure in business valuations, is a Wiley author, AICPA and NACVA national speaker and business valuation course developer. He is the managing director of the Financial Valuation Group (FVG), a national financial advisory services firm specializing in valuation and litigation services. Hitchner has more than 25 years of professional experience and is a recognized expert witness. In addition to editing the successful first edition of Financial Valuation and accompanying workbook, he is the co-author of Valuation for Financial Reporting, published by Wiley, and co-author of the AICPA’s three-part self study videocourse series on SFAS 141 and 142.
