The author is the undisputed expert in the area of securitisation and credit derivatives, being an accomplished trainer who offers about 200 training courses every year on securitisation and credit derivatives all over the world. The book is a comprehensive and updated version of a similar book that sold over 1000 copies when the author self-published it in July 2002. He received 40 orders on the day the book was announced. Most of the sales came from the US although the book was sold in over 40 countries. The book has been out of print for the last two years and the author is still receiving constant orders. These figures are no mean feat for a book that was not listed on Amazon and without the help of regular book distributors. The authors ability to explain a highly complex and technical financial product in simple terms, presented in a logical structure that helps the readers to develop awareness for the subject, blending together a myriad of technicalities into a cohesive and meaningful whole.
