About the Book and Topic:

Contingency plans map out a corporation’s strategy for environmental or man-made disasters that may have a serious impact on the daily functioning of the business.
Revised edition: This new revision updates all the existing chapters with the lessons learned from the attack of 9/11 to the natural disasters of hurricanes Katrina and Wilma. Practical approach: This book provides a proven methodology for implementing a business contingency and continuity plan. It provides detailed explanation on how to establish a corporate contingency plan policy and strategy, minimize plan development costs, and shows how a business can save time and money by avoiding the consultant’s traditional approach of extensive information-gathering that contributes little to the development of practical solutions.
